Wishlist Wednesday : This Ain't My First Rodeo!

It’s been a little bit quiet around P11 HQ this week . A rare weekend with no birthday cakes or other special occasion treats that had to be made. Meaning there was plenty of time to just muck around in the kitchen and try out some new things.

And guess what? None of them turned out!

The ingredients were there – salted caramel, nutella, chocolate, peanut butter, fudge. I mean, come on?! How can you go wrong? The good news is it is all still to come. The bad news is we will all have to wait a few more weeks for the finished products. Hopefully practice will make perfect!

In the meantime, welcome to the inaugural Wishlist Wednesday. A day when we can all appreciate pretty party things and plan exciting events to use them in. Or maybe that’s just my, well, affliction - to be honest!

This week, P11 is getting a little bit country, y'all!

These gorgeous party things are perfect for a birthday Cowboy or Cowgirl!

1. Cowboy and Indians Cupcake Picks

These cupcake picks kicked off the whole wishlist this week. They are so cute and easily accessible from ebay and 'Giggles Cupcake Toppers' on Facebook. And Mel's an Australian seller to boot! (Cowboy pun intended there!)

2. Paisley Partyware and Hat

Hey Yo Yo, you had me at this Paisley Cake stand. And then you rounded up the party hat, cups, plates and napkins as well (yep, more Cowboy puns!). This shop is seriously one of my best party finds in ages. Everything is lovely. Unfortunately the shipping to Australia is a little on the expensive side, but the actual party goods are pretty cheap, so it balances everything out, particularly if you want to kit out a whole party - which you will!

 3. Western Signs

These signs are another cool find, this time from www.buycostumes.com. They ship to Australia through My US, which I know a few people are signing up for. Find them here.

4. Cowboy Boot Cups

Seriously, how stinkin' cute are these boot cups? I noticed a few people are selling them on ebay at the moment but I've never seen them in the local shops. Might be a good time to snap them up if you're thinking about a cowboy party in the near future.

So, have these finds inspired your next party? Have you already held your own hoedown and want to share your tips? Feel free - post a comment, tweet or email me!

Finally, a quick word about Wishlist Wednesday. This is purely a collection of random finds for a great party. No gifts or payment is received by P11 for including them on the list. If your item is listed above, I'd love to hear from you - and thank you for making and selling such great stuff!
